Salaries are in line with other top Bay Area firms, and the firm provides a sizable bonus for all lawyers who bill at least 1,950 hours, with additional money based on three separate billable-hour levels above 1,950.

Position Overview
This role is ideal for a junior litigation associate with 2–3 years of experience who wants to build a career at a top-tier Am Law firm focused on cutting-edge cyber, privacy, and data disputes. You’ll gain hands-on responsibility supporting all aspects of complex class actions and high-stakes litigation while working closely with senior trial lawyers, eDiscovery professionals, and sophisticated institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities
• Litigate complex civil and class action matters involving cyber, privacy, and data innovation issues.
• Support all phases of disputes and litigation, from case assessment through resolution.
• Manage discovery in coordination with the eDiscovery and Litigation Support team.
• Prepare for and assist with depositions, hearings, and mediations.
• Draft motions, briefs, and mediation statements with precision and strategic insight.

Qualifications
• 2–3 years of civil litigation experience, ideally at a major law firm.
• Strong academic credentials and a demonstrated interest in cyber, privacy, or data innovation issues.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral communication skills.
• Membership to the State Bar of the desired office; DC Bar required or the ability to obtain it promptly.
