About the Opportunity

This position is ideal for a seasoned IP litigator who enjoys strategy, knowledge management, and thought leadership over traditional billable work. The role focuses on supporting the IP Litigation group by developing tools, training, and resources that strengthen client service and practice-wide efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze legal and regulatory developments in IP litigation, including patent and trade secret disputes.

• Create and maintain high-quality client alerts, white papers, and internal knowledge resources.

• Collaborate with attorneys to develop practice templates, model documents, and best practices.

• Partner with Marketing to enhance the firm’s IP brand through events, webinars, and external publications.

• Support business development initiatives by preparing RFP responses and client-facing materials.

• Coordinate with Professional Development to design attorney training and CLE programs.

• Work with Information Services to improve technology platforms and knowledge systems for the IP team.

• Serve as a resource to partners and associates, enhancing consistency, efficiency, and client experience across cases.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

• Bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

• Minimum of 5 years of patent litigation experience, including exposure to trade secret litigation.

• Strong understanding of IP litigation procedures and issues affecting technology and life sciences industries.

• Exceptional research, writing, and presentation skills.

• Self-motivated team player with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and adept at using technology for legal workflow improvement.
