We are looking for a part time Maintenance Worker to join our team and assist with the upkeep of the hotel and facilities. Maintenance Worker responsibilities include plumbing, electrical, and general knowledge of contractor work. If you have a knack for guest service and work experience in the hotel industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections of guest rooms, hallways, and public areas
- Repair and maintain plumbing systems (leaks, clogged drains, toilets, etc.)
- Handle basic electrical work (light fixtures, outlets, bulbs, minor wiring issues)
- Maintain HVAC systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning)
- Respond quickly to guest maintenance requests
- Conduct preventative maintenance to avoid future issues
- Repair furniture, doors, locks, and fixtures
- Paint, patch walls, and perform general carpentry tasks
- Ensure safety systems are working (fire alarms, smoke detectors, emergency lighting)
- Keep maintenance tools and equipment organized and in good condition
- Work with outside contractors when needed
- Follow all safety procedures and hotel policies
Technical Skills
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
