We are partnering with a leading ophthalmology organisation to appoint an Advanced Technology Specialist (ATS) to support the West region.
This is a highly clinical, field-based role working closely with Territory Managers and surgeons to drive adoption of advanced ophthalmic technologies, including IOLs and surgical support products.
The Role
You will act as the clinical expert in the field, supporting surgical procedures, training healthcare professionals and ensuring optimal use of innovative ophthalmology solutions across your territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide in-theatre and clinical support for ophthalmic procedures
- Partner with Territory Managers to drive product adoption and utilisation
- Deliver surgeon and OR staff training on product use and technique
- Support new technology introduction and customer onboarding
- Build strong relationships with key clinical stakeholders
- Act as the clinical voice in the field, feeding back insights to commercial teams
About You
- Background in medical devices or clinical support roles
- Ophthalmology experience strongly preferred
- OR / surgical environment exposure essential
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Comfortable covering a large multi-state territory
- Based in California or West Coast strongly preferred
