The Clinical Coordinator plays a dual role in supporting both direct patient care and clinic operations. This position serves as the primary scribe for the physician, facilitating pre-procedure/surgical readiness for patients, along with standard MA duties. While not a formal leadership role, the Clinical Coordinator is expected to assist in coordinating day-to-day clinical workflows, troubleshoot minor issues, and support the Clinic Manager and provider team as needed. This role is ideal for high-performing MA who demonstrates strong clinical skills, proactive thinking, and a collaborative mindset.
Essential Responsibilities
Provider & Patient Care Support
- Serve as the primary scribe for the attending physician during clinic, entering real-time documentation in the EMR
- Support providers with patient intake, vitals, telephone encounters, and documentation
- Process referrals, imaging orders, and TE workflows in coordination with clinical and admin teams
- Prepare and facilitate procedural readiness for patients undergoing injections (e.g., SIJ, ESI, MBBs)
Clinical Coordination Support
- Coordinate care plans and ensure patients meet medical clearances and documentation before scheduled procedures and/or surgeries
- Identify patient or workflow bottlenecks and assist in real-time problem solving
- Proactively support clinic flow by anticipating provider and patient needs
- Collaborate with the Clinic Manager to support high-volume or time-sensitive situations
Other Duties:
- The Clinical Coordinator may be assigned additional tasks or responsibilities at the discretion of the Clinic Manager, attending physician(s), or other authorized leadership. These tasks will be reasonably related to the role and necessary for the efficient operation of the clinic.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
- EMR proficiency required (eCW preferred)
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage tasks independently
- Ability to maintain composure, delegate, and respond to shifting priorities
- CPR certification (or ability to obtain) preferred
Physical Requirements
- Active, standing position requiring lifting (up to 50 lbs), walking, and assisting patients
- Occasional driving to other clinic sites required; must maintain a valid driver's license and auto insurance
