What are the responsibilities and job description for the Territory Manager position at Barrington James?
Territory Manager – Baltimore/Mid-Atlantic
We’re working with a global medical device company specialising in ophthalmic surgical solutions, with a strong focus on premium intraocular lenses and technologies used in cataract and refractive surgery. They are a well-established player in the ophthalmology space with a strong reputation for innovation, surgeon education and improving patient outcomes globally.
Key focus:
- Own and deliver territory revenue targets
- Develop and grow relationships with ophthalmic surgeons & hospital stakeholders
- Drive adoption of surgical, IOL and ocular surface products
- Deliver product demos and clinical/educational support in theatre and clinic
- Build long-term account strategy and expand market share across the territory
What they’re looking for:
- Strong medical device sales background (theatre / clinical environment essential)
- Experience building relationships with surgeons or hospital accounts
- Ideally ophthalmology exposure (IOLs, cataract or similar)
- Strong hunter mindset with proven territory growth success
- Confident, resilient, and able to work autonomously in a field-based role
