Position Overview
The BHI Manager oversees the operational, financial, and clinical functions of Balanced Wellbeing’s Behavioral Health Integration (BHI) Program. This role plays a crucial part in leading program staff, driving efficiency, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a strong background in long-term care settings and a passion for enhancing behavioral health services.
This position offers a competitive base salary plus a robust monthly bonus structure—earn up to an additional $3,000 per month based on team productivity!
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee scheduling and auditing of BHI Coordinators in the field and office.
- Review and audit care plans created by BHI Coordinators.
- Partner with the Billing Department to identify new patient opportunities.
- Travel to various facilities to introduce the BHI program and establish relationships.
- Conduct evaluations of operational factors impacting program success and goal achievement.
- Provide leadership to improve program efficiency, effectiveness, and quality.
- Analyze program data to ensure compliance and high-quality service delivery; advise the Clinical Director Assistant on needed adjustments.
- Manage quality assurance processes, including tracking, analyzing, and reporting overall program status.
- Develop and maintain centralized documentation for BHI materials (policies, reports, credentialing documents, etc.).
- Create, recommend, and implement policies, procedures, and workflows for new and existing services.
- Collaborate with BHI team members to support high-quality care and proper service utilization.
- Coordinate and collect required components for BHI program audits.
- Ensure appropriate service utilization through continuous measurement and evaluation.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Active LPN license (required).
- Minimum 1 year working in a nursing home environment.
- Minimum 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience in a nursing home setting.
- Experience traveling to various ALF and SNF locations within your region.
- Knowledge of Behavioral Health Integration (BHI) programs is preferred.
