Position Summary
The Onboarding Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth, compliant, and welcoming onboarding experience for new hires. This position works closely with recruiting, HR, credentialing, and operations teams to support employees from offer acceptance through full integration into the organization. Occasional travel to regional locations is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires
- Serve as the primary point of contact for onboarding-related questions
- Prepare, track, and process new hire documentation accurately and timely
- Schedule and facilitate onboarding and orientation sessions
- Partner with internal teams to ensure credentialing, training, and system access are completed
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and onboarding platforms
- Monitor onboarding progress and follow up on outstanding requirements
- Travel to assigned locations as needed to support in-person onboarding and orientations
- Ensure a positive onboarding experience that reflects company culture and values
Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in onboarding, HR, recruiting coordination, or administrative support preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR systems
- Ability to travel periodically within Florida
- Healthcare or multi-site experience preferred
Schedule & Compensation
- Pay Rate: $21–$23 per hour (based on experience)
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
