Physical Therapist - Outpatient

Role: Physical Therapist in outpatient rehabilitation, responsible for improving patient outcomes through hands-on care, patient education, and prescribed movement. Collaborates with physical therapy assistants and a multidisciplinary team to treat patients of all ages and abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients, develop treatment plans and goals, and implement therapy programs to address physical or developmental dysfunctions.
• Reassess and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on home programs and preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with healthcare providers regarding patient progress.
• Adhere to departmental policies, safety, and infection control standards.
• Participate in educational programs, meetings, and special projects.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree required; Doctor of Physical Therapy preferred.
• NM Physical Therapy license required.
• BLS certification at hire.
