Responsibilities:
- Strengthen compliance across OSHA, DOT, EPA, and state regulations
- Conduct facility and field safety audits, investigations, and root-cause analysis
- Drive continuous improvement and safety training for drivers and site personnel
- Manage driver qualification files, reporting, and safety documentation
- Partner with operations leadership to shape KPIs and elevate safety performance
- Support emergency preparedness and environmental compliance initiatives
Requirements:
- 7 years of safety experience, including leadership
- Background in waste management, transportation, or industrial operations
- Strong regulatory knowledge and multi-site safety program experience
- Ability to travel regionally (approx. 50%)
