AuthoraCare Collective is currently seeking a Board Certified Chaplain. This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm with rotating holidays on-call.
Job Summary
Responsible for providing comprehensive assessment of the spiritual, religious and emotional needs of Hospice patients and their support systems. Provides advanced spiritual counseling to address patient/family issues of grief and loss, spiritual concerns, religious needs, and end of
life planning. Coordinates or officiates spiritual/religious rituals as requested. Functions as a member of an interdisciplinary team and is considered the lead expert in spiritual care matters.

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Master's Degree (M. Div.) from an accredited institution or equivalent.
- Educational and clinical experience in the area of death and dying.
- At least two years of spiritual care experience.
- Must have completed four units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE).
- Ecclesiastical endorsement and/or leadership standing within one’s religious/spiritual tradition required.
- Board certification with the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC), the National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC), or Neshama: Association of Jewish Chaplains (NAJC) within two years of hire required.
- Other: Valid state-issued driver's license required. Must carry automobile liability insurance at limits required by agency. Must have own transportation.
