We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian / Housekeeping Specialist to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.. This temporary position is for 3 months, Monday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities
- Floors: Sweep, dust, and mop all non-carpeted floors; vacuum carpets and runners; remove visible spots. Use DBVI-approved disinfectants as needed.
- Surfaces: Dust and wipe down furniture, counters, cabinets, appliances, picture frames, office equipment, windowsills, and baseboards.
- High-Touch Areas: Disinfect high-contact surfaces such as doorknobs, handrails, light switches, telephones, countertops, sinks, and drinking fountains.
- Trash & Litter: Remove and dispose of all trash and litter, including cigarette butts near entrances. Empty indoor and outdoor trashcans; replace liners as needed.
- Restrooms: Replenish soap, toilet tissue, and other supplies. Sweep, mop, and scrub floors, clean mirrors, basins, faucets, counters, baby changing stations, toilets, urinals, tiles, partitions, and fixtures using disinfectants. Clean restroom floor drains to maintain water seals.
- Glass Surfaces: Clean all glass surfaces streak-free, including entrance doors, windows, and vestibules.
- Cobwebs: Remove from ceilings, walls, and windows/windowsills.
- Outdoor Furniture: Wipe down tables, chairs, and benches.
- Previous custodial or housekeeping experience preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to follow DBVI cleaning protocols and use approved disinfectants safely.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 40-50 pounds at times.
- Standard hours of work Monday through Friday, 12:00pm - 8:00 pm
