Location: Peterborough, NH

Pay: $39 - $ hourly

Shift: 8:30 AM-5:00 PM 8:30am to 5pm (M-F) 8:00am - Noon (Saturday, on Rotation)

Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Peds Pediatric team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.

Note: This is a direct placement opportunity. Travelers will not be considered for this role. The selected candidate will be hired directly by our client. Benefits and other employment terms may vary.

Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:

• Provide direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions to ensure optimal outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians, fellow nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patients' conditions, treatments, and progress
• Report any changes or concerns promptly to the appropriate team members
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and protocols
• Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures to promote overall wellness
• Offer emotional support and advocate for patients' rights, ensuring they receive compassionate and respectful care
• Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines to maintain a safe and ethical work environment
• Stay updated on medical advancements, best practices, and industry standards through ongoing professional development activities
• Teach and direct other clinical support staff (LPNs and Medical Assistants) in the performance of acts delegated to them
• Utilize the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
• Work Saturday rotation as required
• Maintain valid Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Maintain current ACLS and BLS (AHA) certifications
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (state-specific)
• Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant Peds Pediatric experience preferred
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
