Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician (MD) to join the Psychiatrists team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.

Note: This is a direct placement opportunity. Travelers will not be considered for this role. The selected candidate will be hired directly by our client. Benefits and other employment terms may vary.

Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:

• Provide inpatient psychiatric care for an average of 18 patients per day
• Work Monday through Friday day shift schedule with no weekends or call requirements
• Treat patients with anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, eating disorders, personality disorders, developmental disorders, and psychotic disorders
• Utilize Wellsky EMR system for patient documentation and care coordination
• Demonstrate familiarity with involuntary commitments and pharmacotherapy
• Collaborate with 1 other psychiatrist and 3 advanced practice providers in the treatment team
• Maintain Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry
• Obtain and maintain Delaware medical license
• Obtain and maintain DEA registration prior to start date
• Obtain and maintain CSR/CDS certification prior to start date
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and treatment plans
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and treatment planning
• Ensure compliance with all facility policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• Active Physician (MD) license in good standing (state-specific)
• Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant Psychiatrists experience preferred
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
