Radiology Technician (RDTN) - X-Ray

Location: Wilmington, DE

Pay: $32.00 - $34.00 hourly

Shift: 9:00 AM-5:30 PM

Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Radiology Technician (RDTN) to join the X-Ray team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.

Note: This is a direct placement opportunity. Travelers will not be considered for this role. The selected candidate will be hired directly by our client. Benefits and other employment terms may vary.

Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:

• Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG service to nursing homes, health care facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities
• Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submit/transmit them to a Radiologist for interpretation
• Unload portable X-Ray equipment and take into facilities to perform exams ordered by the physician
• Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent x-ray images
• Perform EKGs as needed and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation
• Scan exam related paperwork/billing documents on a daily basis per protocol
• Regularly communicate with dispatch and management
• Communicate efficiently and interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients
• Maintain vehicle and x-ray equipment
• Maintain required State licenses and/or ARRT Certification, health requirements, and operational requirements
• Maintain valid driver's license in applicable state and in good current standing at all times
• Complete COVID-19 vaccination requirement or submit proper documentation for exemption
• Work rotating on-call and weekend schedules
• Push/pull equipment ranging from 50-100 lbs multiple times per day
• Travel to various facilities including skilled nursing facilities, prisons/jails, and home health settings

Qualifications:

• Active Radiology Technician (RDTN) license in good standing (state-specific)
• Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant X-Ray experience preferred
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
