Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Surgery - Cardiothoracic
Location: Loveland, CO
Pay: $136822 - $179379 annually
Shift: Nights 12-hour overnight shifts, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM
Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join the Surgery - Cardiothoracic team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:
- Deliver comprehensive Trauma and Acute Care Surgery services for overnight coverage (7P-7A)
- Perform assessments, order/interpret diagnostics, and develop treatment plans
- Manage trauma and emergency general surgery patients across inpatient settings
- Support trauma surgeons with procedures and ongoing patient management
- Work autonomously while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Document all care using Epic EMR
- Ensure compliance with medical staff bylaws and privileging processes
- Maintain high-quality patient safety and performance standards
- Participate in mentorship, leadership development, and ongoing education programs
- Maintain current BLS certification
- Maintain unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Colorado
- Maintain eligibility for DEA and Medicare/Medicaid provider status
- Maintain clean malpractice/license history
- Ensure no sanctions/exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA
Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in good standing (state-specific)
- Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant Surgery - Cardiothoracic experience preferred
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
