π― The Opportunity β Principal Consultant
This is a 360, client-facing Principal Consultant role within a high-performing US division. Youβll build and own a specialist vertical within:
- Energy & Infrastructure Finance (PE, IB, M&A, FP&A, Project Finance)
- Corporate Legal / General Counsel
- Investor Relations
- Digital Infrastructure (Data Centres, Mechanical Engineering, BD, Site Acquisition)
The firm has exceptional candidate delivery capability, but needs Principals who can originate clients, build markets, and create job flow in job-short, BD-heavy environments.

πΌ Key Responsibilities
π Build, grow, and lead your own market niche
π€ Originate and manage relationships with PE firms, investment banks, corporates, and digital infrastructure players
π High-volume BD: meetings, outbound strategy, market mapping
π― Deliver full 360 recruitment (search, headhunt, pitch, close)
π Drive retained search, multi-hire projects, and long-term client partnerships
π₯ Potential to step into a Team Lead / Senior Manager pathway
π Work closely with leadership to expand the US business footprint
π‘ What Youβll Bring
To thrive, you should have:
βοΈ 2β6 years 360 recruitment experience
βοΈ A proven track record of client wins and job creation
βοΈ Experience in job-short or BD-heavy markets
βοΈ Ability to build and dominate a niche
βοΈ Entrepreneurial drive β comfort owning your desk like a business
βοΈ Experience from a global or UK-style recruitment environment (highly advantageous)
Candidates from Tech, Pharma, Engineering, Finance, or Energy backgrounds are welcomed β as long as you are a proven 360 biller with client origination experience.
π° Compensation & Earnings
While the base salary is competitive (typically $70kβ$90k depending on experience), the commission structure is one of the strongest in the market:
π΅ $300k billed in a quarter = ~$90k commission
π΅ Typical Finance deal value: $45kβ$50k
π΅ Recent 360 deal closed at $180k
π― Expectation: $400k billing in 12β18 months
Top performers consistently earn well above equivalent roles at other global agencies.
