The Role
As Lead Recruiter, you’ll take ownership of a defined market vertical within insurance or data/AI, leading strategic recruitment initiatives, nurturing senior client relationships, and driving business growth.
You’ll act as a senior voice within the office — mentoring junior consultants, influencing business direction, and contributing to the firm’s continued expansion in the U.S. This is an opportunity for a recruiter with genuine entrepreneurial drive to build, lead, and shape a practice area in a high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment within your specialist vertical (insurance or data/AI), across both permanent and contract markets.
- Build, manage, and expand high-value client relationships, securing repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Mentor, coach, and develop junior consultants, promoting a culture of high performance and accountability.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the New York office — identifying growth opportunities and driving new initiatives.
- Deliver an exceptional, consultative experience to clients and candidates, aligned with the firm’s global standards.
- Meet and exceed personal and team billing targets, supporting the office’s overall commercial success.
What You’ll Bring
- 3 years of recruitment experience, ideally 4 , with consistent high billing performance ($400k–$1M range).
- Proven track record in business development, client acquisition, and market expansion.
- A resilient, driven, and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to excel in a performance-based culture.
- Demonstrated career consistency and a strong record of professional growth.
- Experience mentoring others and contributing to a team-oriented, collaborative culture.
- Knowledge of the U.S. insurance market or emerging trends in data/AI and technology recruitment is advantageous.
Compensation & Incentives
- Base salary: up to $125,000
- Commission: up to 40% of quarterly billings above $100k
- High-performing recruiters regularly achieve $550k billings in their first year
