Staff Accountant

Position Summary: The Accounting Specialist will join our dynamic accounting team by performing routine accounting tasks and ensuring accurate, timely financial recordkeeping. Working under the supervision of the Director of Finance, the Staff Accountant assists with monthly and year-end closing activities, supports audits, and helps ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring compliance with financial transaction recording standards (e.g., general ledger, cash payments/collections, tax transactions, etc.)
• Accounts Payable/Receivable and/or Credit & Collections
• Reconciliation of accounts and records (balance sheet, P&L, bank accounts, etc.)
• Accounting reports/schedules for internal audiences (management reporting), for external audiences (compliance reporting)
• Assist with cost accounting (allocation of direct/indirect costs, variance analysis, budget preparation, etc.)
• Explains facts, policies and practices related to job area. Position Requirements:
• BS or BA in Accounting or 3 years’ experience
• Strong desire to work autonomously
• Computer literacy required: - Microsoft Office suite includes Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Critical Competencies:

• Swagelok product knowledge and quote-to-cash process (will train)

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
