Responsibilities
- Accountable for all facets of learning development including needs assessment, design and development, and successful delivery of learning content that aligns with business and learning objectives.
- Deliver high-quality learning enablement solutions that promote a blended learning approach.
- Stay updated with new learning theories and assist in developing pragmatic strategies and continuous improvements to enhance the learning environment.
- Provide insight in developing learning assets using knowledge, data, intuition, and adult learning theory.
- Build awareness and act as a Subject Matter Expert by educating stakeholders on new learning tools, techniques, and delivery modalities.
- Provide daily support and ongoing maintenance of the Learning Management System.
- Act as a change agent by embracing new ways of learning and staying current on new learning technologies such as LMS, content providers, and eLearning tools.
- Minimum of 3 years of instructional design experience, including e-learning design methodologies.
- Proficient with office productivity tools.
- Proficient in learning management systems, terminology, and designing to learning industry standards (e.g., SCORM/AICC).
- Skilled in using learning development tools such as Articulate 360/Storyline/Rise, Captivate, and other content development tools.
- Demonstrated success in applying the principles of instructional design and learning & development methodologies.
- Ability to mentor others and provide guidance on instructional design techniques.
- Capability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to rapidly changing deadlines and needs.
- Degree in Adult Learning, Instructional Design, or a related field preferred.
- Very strong preference for candidates located in St. Louis, MO and Deerfield Beach, FL.
- Open to fully remote candidates if they meet all qualifications and are willing to travel to the office periodically.
