Responsibilities
- Oversee HR functions such as payroll, benefits, compliance, employee relations, and engagement.
- Administer ESOP and 401(k) plans effectively.
- Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategy with business objectives.
- Manage employee relations and improve HR processes.
- Ensure compliance with federal and Hawaii employment laws.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of federal and Hawaii employment laws.
- Proficiency in payroll and benefits administration.
- Experience with HRIS system and reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and confidentiality.
- ESOP and 401(k) administration experience is preferred.
- HR Certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP is a plus.
- Experience with unionized skilled labor is advantageous.
