Job Description
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing the financial processing of invoices and payments for the organization. This role ensures timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices, maintains compliance with company policies, and supports the overall efficiency of the Accounts Payable function.
Responsibilities
- Process approximately 500 invoices weekly using the True Links ERP system.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Support the overall efficiency of the Accounts Payable function.
- Perform data entry and filing tasks.
- Answer phones as needed.
- Complete ad hoc tasks as assigned.
- Previous experience in accounts payable and invoicing.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Basic knowledge of Excel (simple calculations; pivot tables and VLOOKUP not required).
- Standard office environment within a manufacturing company.
- Flexible working hours (early departures or late arrivals as needed).
- 40-hour workweek.
- Family-oriented atmosphere.
