Accounts Payable SpecialistJob DescriptionWe are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team for a temporary leave coverage role within the organization. The successful candidate will work directly with the CFO to ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and financial records.ResponsibilitiesMaintain and update vendor records in Viewpoint.Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices in a timely manner.Conduct weekly check runs.Prepare waivers for subcontractors.Reconcile and process Reports.Reconcile vendor statements.Record and post all EFT payments.Process check requests and expense reports regularly.Essential Skills5 years of experience in Accounts Payable.Proficiency in Excel.Strong vendor communication skills.Experience with invoice processing, accounting, invoicing, payable reconciliation, and way match.Competence in Microsoft Excel and coding.Vendor management skills.Experience with Viewpoint.Additional Skills & Qualifications1-4 years of experience in Accounts Payable.Ability to handle a high volume of invoices.Experience with any type of ERP system.Work EnvironmentThis role is fully onsite, with a schedule of 8am to 5pm, where you will work directly with the AP Manager and CFO/Controller. You will be part of a two-person AP team in a supportive and collaborative environment.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of New York, NY.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
