Senior Cloud Integration Architect/Data Architect

 

Seeking a senior-level Cloud Integration Architect / Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise integration solutions across Azure and on-prem environments. This role focuses on event-driven architecture, hybrid integrations, data modeling, and cloud-native services while collaborating with multiple engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design scalable event-driven and distributed integration architectures
• Define canonical data/event models and integration contracts
• Architect hybrid cloud integrations between Azure and on-prem systems
• Design ingestion and processing solutions using Azure services (AKS, Azure Container Apps, Event Hubs, Service Bus, ADLS, etc.)
• Define data modeling strategies including relational, event-based, and Data Vault approaches
• Create architecture and governance documentation (security, DR, connectivity, observability)
• Collaborate with engineering teams to standardize integration patterns
• Provide hands-on technical guidance, troubleshooting, and validation support

Required Skills

• Strong experience designing distributed/event-driven systems
• Hands-on expertise with:

• Strong database experience:
  • SQL Server
  • PostgreSQL
  • Oracle
• Deep Azure experience:
  • AKS / Azure Container Apps
  • ADLS / Storage
  • Key Vault / ACR
  • Application Insights / Log Analytics
  • Networking, private endpoints, hybrid connectivity
• Experience defining enterprise integration patterns and data models
• Ability to produce implementation-ready architecture documentation

Preferred Skills

• Databricks

• Experience with enterprise architecture governance/review processes
• Development background in Java, Python, or similar technologies
