Role: SAP SD/MM Functional Consultant
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 months contract
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and existing SAP processes to prepare detailed Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) for API testing initiatives.
- Gather and document functional requirements, business validations, and test scenarios.
- Work closely with SAP ABAP developers to analyze technical issues and support solution design.
- Coordinate API testing activities between functional, automation, and ABAP development teams.
- Troubleshoot SAP functional issues, perform impact analysis, and recommend resolution approaches.
- Collaborate across SAP and non-SAP applications to ensure smooth system integrations and data flow.
- Facilitate workshops and discussions with business users and technical teams to define business processes and solutions.
- Participate in project planning, delivery reviews, status meetings, and stakeholder communications.
- Support end-to-end testing, validation, and successful project delivery.
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong communication with project stakeholders.
Required Skills
- 8–10 years of SAP Functional Consulting experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)
- SAP MM (Materials Management)
- SAP FI (Financial Accounting)
- Good understanding of SAP ABAP for troubleshooting and collaboration with developers.
- Experience with API testing, functional testing, and integration testing.
- Experience integrating SAP with non-SAP applications.
- Strong documentation skills, including Functional Specification Documents (FSDs).
- Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Mandatory Requirements
- Strong functional expertise in SAP SD, MM, and FI modules.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model in Austin, TX.
Preferred Skills
- SAP S/4HANA implementation or support experience.
- Experience with SAP Field Service Management (FSM) is a plus.
