Dietary Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the dietary department, including planning, organizing, and directing food service operations
- Develop and implement menus, meal plans, and nutrition programs to meet the needs of our residents
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
- Supervise and train dietary staff, including cooks, servers, and wait staff
- Manage inventory, ordering, and receiving of food, supplies, and equipment
- Foster a positive and respectful work environment, promoting teamwork and communication among staff
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional resident care
- Experience in healthcare food service management
- Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Current Food Handler's Certification
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
