Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient and effective cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, and facilities
- Develop and implement housekeeping schedules and procedures to ensure compliance with infection control guidelines and company policies
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure high standards of cleanliness and organization are maintained
- Identify and address any maintenance or repair needs in resident rooms and common areas
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and effective delivery of services
- Maintain accurate records and reports on housekeeping activities, including inventory management and supply ordering
- Participate in training and orientation of new housekeeping staff members
- Mentor and provide guidance to housekeeping staff to support their professional development
- Experience in housekeeping or a related field in a healthcare setting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy cleaning equipment and supplies
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
