Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of our skilled nursing facility's nursing care team, including developing and implementing nursing care plans and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing care team, including mentoring and coaching staff to achieve their full potential.
- Collaborate with other departments, including medical staff, therapy services, and social services, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for our residents.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of resident care, including medical records, incident reports, and quality assessment reports.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to improve resident outcomes and reduce risk.
- Current and good standing Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Missouri
- Experience as a DON Nursing supervisor or equivalent role
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
