Are you a hands-on accounting professional with a passion for manufacturing operations? Our team is looking for a Senior Plant Accountant to serve as a strategic partner to our Plant Manager and operations teams.
In this role, you’ll take the lead on inventory accounting, cost analysis, and financial support for day-to-day plant activities. You’ll dig into production data, support inventory accuracy, and provide insights that strengthen operational performance and financial results.
What You’ll Do:
• Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reporting and reconciliation
• Partner closely with the Plant Manager to support inventory planning, production needs, and cost controls
• Monitor and analyze production variances, scrap, yields, and material usage
• Lead the month-end close process for the plant, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Prepare cost reports, KPIs, and financial analysis for plant leadership
• Support annual physical inventory, cycle counts, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, procurement, and supply chain teams
What We’re Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, ideally within manufacturing
• Strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory management
• Excellent analytical skills and comfort working directly with plant operations
• Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to non-finance partners
• Experience with ERP systems
