Budget Director

A leading Non-profit organization is seeking a Director of Budgets to partner closely with the CFO in leading the annual operating budgeting process, as well as the development and management of programmatic, grant, and contract budgets.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain effective relationships with key funding contacts to resolve financial and budgetary matters efficiently.
• Partner with program and department leaders to develop budgets aligned with organizational goals and funding requirements.
• Provide training and guidance to department managers and program teams on budget management and financial planning best practices.
• Oversee the submission of timely budget modifications and adjustments.
• Lead and develop the Budget team, including direct supervision of the Budget Manager and Senior Budget Analyst.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in financial management, including experience in non-profit or public accounting.
• Proven supervisory and leadership experience managing financial teams.
• Strong experience in budget creation, monitoring, and analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills.
