Senior Tax Manager

Senior Tax Manager – ASC 740

📍 Nashville, TN (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

💰 $185k Base and on 15% Bonus RSUs

📦 Relocation Assistance Available (Remote possible first 6–9 months)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review global ASC 740 income tax provisions
• Support quarterly and annual US GAAP financial reporting
• Develop effective tax rate reconciliations and tax cash-flow analysis
• Maintain inventory of deferred tax assets, liabilities, and uncertain tax positions
• Manage tax-related balance sheet accounts and reconciliations
• Assist with tax accounting methods and financial reporting impacts
• Support post-acquisition tax integration and purchase accounting
• Ensure adherence to SOX compliance requirements
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and regulations
• Lead tax accounting projects and process improvements

Leadership Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor tax team members
• Plan, assign, and review work to ensure quality and accuracy
• Support hiring, development, and performance management

Required Qualifications

• CPA required
• 8–10 years of tax experience
• Experience with ASC 740 income tax provisions
• Background in public company or Big 4 environment
• Experience with C-Corp tax provision work
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Experience working with global subsidiaries and consolidations

Preferred Experience

• Master’s degree in Accounting or Tax
• Experience with OneSource Income Tax Provision software
• Experience with Bloomberg, CCH, or Checkpoint tax research tools
• Experience with Oracle ERP
