Sr Accountant, Boca Raton, FL,
Our client, a well-established organization in the Boca Raton area, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and hands-on experience with balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting, and budget management.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare and post journal entries and financial statements
- Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts
- Analyze and explain variances between actual results and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with IFRS accounting standards
- Manage prepaids and fixed asset schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3 years of professional accounting experience
- Experience in public accounting is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Jet Reports preferred
- CPA certification is a plus
