We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Litigation Attorney to join our expanding team. As a key member of the Litigation Practice Group, you will collaborate with attorneys across the firm on a wide range of civil litigation matters. This role offers the opportunity to handle a wide-variety of cases, develop litigation strategy, and provide high-level counsel to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage general civil, commercial, real estate, HOA-related, and or business litigation matters from inception through resolution, including trial where applicable.
- Develop and execute case strategies, legal arguments, and risk mitigation approaches.
- Provide strategic legal advice and counseling to clients involved in disputes.
- Maintain and strengthen client relationships, ensuring a high level of client service and satisfaction.
- Conduct advanced legal research and analysis.
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and settlement agreements.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and negotiations.
- Collaborate effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
- Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and legal staff.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and ethical obligations.
- Stay current on legal developments impacting litigation practice.
- Actively participate in business development, networking, and client acquisition efforts.
Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in civil, commercial, real estate, complex, and/or business litigation.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage cases through all phases, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
- Active Nevada Bar admission required.
- Trial experience preferred.
- Excellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters efficiently.
- Experience supervising attorneys and legal staff is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with iManage, ProLaw, or similar systems is a plus.
- Experience with e-filing systems and legal research platforms.
- Exceptional communication skills and sound professional judgment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for the role is 175k-300k
Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
