- DCD: Data Center Delivery, i.e., construction team.
- DCE: Data Center Engineering, i.e. engineering team.
- AHJ: Authority Having Jurisdiction, i.e., permitting authority
- LLE: Long Lead Equipment i.e. Transformers, High Voltage Breakers, etc.
- FCA: Facilities Construction Agreement
- Company to identify a Project Manager for the project at the outset; will notify of changes.
- Project Manager identified above to serve as Single Point of Contact for Utility Service Provider responsible for all utility scope i.e. transmission, distribution, and substation, as identified in the agreement(s).
- Facilitate regular design & site progress meetings at least once per week with Energy Team, DCD, DCE, and AHJ. Project Manager to facilitate (can be by teleconference).
- Provide matrix with contact information to include division of responsibility for all utility groups involved in the project.
- All utility/substation scope must be signed off by DCE & Energy PM(s) – as part of the FCA.
- Drawings to be issued for review and approval.
- Sign off through Adobe Sign or DocuSign.
- The latest version of AutoCAD to be utilized for all design efforts.
- BIM360 to be utilized for design coordination efforts, as necessary per DCE.
- Document and track all tasks such as agreements, deeds or easements required to ensure successful project completion to the project schedule.
- Inform Energy PM(s) of missed scope.
- Verify all work is in scope prior to proceeding with any work.
- Track purchase orders and report out on funding remaining, typically at 80%.
- Establish Budgets, Cost Estimates and True-up(s).
- Including contingency / not to exceed
- Change order(s) to be fully executed prior to proceeding with any work. [Amend FCA to customer requested changes.]
- All new scope to be routed and documented via change management process.
- Publish detailed schedule in our Project.
- Establish predecessors with 0 float.
- Determine critical path activities and report out weekly.
- Maintain and update actuals/progress monthly.
- Weekly verification and update of our project schedule.
- Verification of LLE Equipment on-track / on-site date(s).
- Advise Energy PM(s) on any way to improve the schedule.
- Advise Energy PM(s) of delays/action item(s) needed.
- Provide mitigation solution(s) and/or recovery schedule for delays and any associated cost impact(s).
- Weekly progress report update including picture(s) to Energy PM(s).
- Keep records through Document Control per direction.
- Weekly walks with pictures (can be the same walk as above).
- Establish pre-construction site walk with all stakeholders.
- Verify substation civil is complete to utility specification.
- Advise Energy PM(s) of issues with Quality.
- Keep records through Document Control per direction.
- Safety is everyone's responsibility.
- Safety is a value; higher than any priority.
- Submit Energization Safety plan.
- Establish pre-energization site walk with all stakeholders, including on-site Energy Marshall.
- Method of procedure to be submitted in advance for coordination and collaboration with on-site team.
- Verify GC has completed all scope downstream of yard.
- Power Utility Experience - 5 years
Salary Range: $1,66,000 - 1,76,000 Annually -Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
