About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced, proactive Personal Injury Paralegal to join a highly respected, AV-rated civil litigation firm with multiple locations in Southern California. Working alongside award-winning, Super Lawyers-rated litigators, you will support a dynamic practice representing clients in high-stakes personal injury, medical malpractice, professional liability, and complex tort litigation.

Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in all phases of civil litigation, from pre-litigation discovery through trial preparation and appellate procedures.
- Draft, review, and organize legal documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, discovery responses, and trial exhibits.
- Manage complex medical records, including summarizing medical bills, organizing chronologies, and coordinating expert witness testimony.
- Communicate professionally with clients, court staff, opposing counsel, and experts.
Qualifications
- 2 years of substantive litigation paralegal experience in California.
- Direct experience handling medical malpractice, personal injury, Insurance defense, Real estate, professional liability, or premises liability defense matters is strongly preferred.
- In-depth understanding of California Rules of Court, e-filing procedures (state and federal), and trial preparation.
- Strong proficiency in litigation support tools, document management software, and legal billing systems.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $85,000 – $110,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
