Job Summary
The Electrical Foreman will lead and supervise field crews on commercial construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project specifications. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders on active job sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise electrical crews on job sites, ensuring productivity, safety, and quality
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to meet deadlines and project goals
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
- Oversee daily site operations including scheduling, manpower allocation, and materials planning
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies
- Manage project documentation using tools like Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms
- Conduct site inspections to track progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions
- Maintain quality control and ensure installations meet required standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction with a strong background in commercial electrical systems
- Prior experience in a supervisory or foreman role on large-scale projects
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, and construction workflows
- Familiarity with construction documentation, contracts, and quality control processes
- Experience using testing equipment (e.g., ohmmeters) for troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations and job site safety practices
- Experience with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, etc.)
- Experience with heavy civil or pipeline projects is a plus
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills
Salary
The annual salary for this position is between $80,000 – $100,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
