We are working with a growing Insurance Defense Firm, looking for an Workers Compensation Attorney to join their team. Specifically, they are looking for someone who has 1 years of experience.
Requirements:
- 1 years of workers compensation experience
- 1 years of defense experience
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in Georgia
Responsibilities:
- Billable hours: 1900-2000
- Manage a caseload of insurance defense cases, from initial claim evaluation to final resolution.
- Conduct thorough legal and factual research, and develop effective defense strategies for clients.
- Draft various legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs to support defense strategies.
- Handle written discovery, take and defend depositions, and prepare witnesses for these proceedings
The annual salary for this position is between 130k-160k. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
