About The Role:
- The main function of an algorithm developer is to design and implement algorithms for machine learning.
- The typical developer will be able to test the effectiveness of routines against requirements. In addition, embedded firmware efforts are needed to deploy the developed algorithms to hardware.
- Use sensors to collect data and run machine learning algorithms and use that to build prototypes
Job Title: Algorithm Developer IV
Key Responsibilities:
- Training and optimizing Machine Learning [ML]/hybrid pipelines for hardware deployment
- Develop and apply advanced methods, theories, and research techniques of algorithms related to Deep Learning.
- Designs, implements and tests algorithms for a variety of machine learning (deep learning) tasks
- Design statistical models and algorithms for analyzing workload performance
- Synthesize algorithm needs and designs for customer requirements.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues found with software
- Deploy algorithms to hardware.
- Improve software performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, mathematics, or related field
- Minimum 3 to 6 years of experience with algorithm development (PyTorch, Tensorflow)
- Experience with object-oriented programming in C , Python or other languages
- Experience with embedded systems and deploy algorithms to hardware
- AI usage for coding and running projects
- Experience with machine learning toolkits and platforms
- Ability to deploy algorithms to hardware by porting them to firmware
- Ability to manage projects autonomously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in computer science, mathematics, or related field
- Prior FAANG or Big Tech a plus
Location: Redmond, WA [Onsite/Hybrid]
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $145,600 - $201,032 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
