Job Description
Summary:
- Based on our construction EHS policy, a Construction Site EHS Leader (Safety Manager) serves as the lead safety point of contact for a project, oversees EHS programs, ensures HRA management, conducts audits, investigates incidents, communicates lessons learned, provides technical guidance, develops safety metrics, and leads subcontractor EHS professionals.
- Experience in HRA management (Level 1, Level2 and Level 3), electrical safety, energy isolation, confined space management, commissioning safety, contractor management, and steel erection.
Construction Safety Manager
- Roles and Responsibilities
- Safety Leadership
- Lead all project safety, health, and environmental initiatives.
- Serve as the primary EHS point of contact for the construction project.
- Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific safety plans.
- Promote a strong safety culture and accountability throughout the project.
- Compliance Management
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, local regulations, client requirements, and company policies.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and audits.
- Monitor subcontractor compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain required permits and safety documentation.
- Risk Assessment and Hazard Control
- Identify workplace hazards and evaluate risks.
- Develop Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
- Implement controls for high-risk activities such as:
- Fall protection
- Confined space entry
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
- Electrical safety
- Crane and rigging operations
- Excavation and trenching

Salary Range: $1,87,000 - 1,97,000 Annually -Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
