What You’ll Do
As a Project Coordinator And Architectural Drafter, You’ll Be The Bridge Between Our Clients, City Agencies, And Design Teams—keeping Projects On Track And Clients Informed. Your Day-to-day Will Include
- Drafting layouts using AutoCAD that conform to the designer’s drawings and that comply with all relevant agency codes
- Managing timelines, deliverables, and client communication for multiple projects
- Coordinating with clients, engineers, and agency officials to move projects through plan check
- Reviewing and responding via AutoCAD to Health and Building Department mark-ups and corrections
- Preparing and submitting detailed response letters, narratives, and resubmittal packages
- Conducting site visits, verifying field conditions, and attending plan check meetings
- Tracking project hours, updates, and documentation using project management software
- Supporting a culture of collaboration and clear communication across the FE team
- 4 years of experience using AutoCAD in preparing construction documents (preferably in architecture, construction, or permitting)
- 1 years of project coordination experience (preferably in architecture, construction, or permitting)
- Familiarity with commercial restaurant or bar build-outs
- Ability to read and understand architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing plans
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple deadlines
- Proficiency in project management tools (we’ll train you on ours)
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture and construction management, or related field
- Local to the Los Angeles area — 3 in-office days per week required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for client meetings and site visits
