Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Architectural Drafter / Architectural Designer to support residential design projects including additions, remodels, ADUs, and new construction. The ideal candidate is organized, technically strong, and comfortable handling multiple responsibilities across different project phases.
This role involves preparing architectural drawings, coordinating with consultants, producing 3D models, and assisting with plan corrections and permit processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop architectural technical drawings and construction documents
- Prepare detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, and details
- Produce 3D models and views using SketchUp
- Coordinate and communicate with outsourced engineers and consultants (structural, Title 24, etc.) when required
- Revise drawings and address plan-check corrections
- Assist with permit processing and agency clearances
- Perform field measurements and verify existing conditions as needed
- Support various project tasks as required, including occasional basic graphic/design work
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (required)
- SketchUp experience (strong advantage)
- Revitexperience (preferred but not required)
- Experience producing residential construction documents
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and project types
- Clear communication skills and professional work ethic
Language Requirements
- English – required
- Armenian – preferred
Experience
- Prior experience in architectural drafting or residential design is a strong advantage, but motivated candidates with solid technical skills are encouraged to apply.
