What You'll Do:
- Support the creation of Integrated Control & Safety System drawings, leveraging insights from system vendor designers.
- Produce essential instrument engineering deliverables, including instrument and fire and gas layout drawings, installation drawings, cabinet and junction box termination diagrams, cable routing drawings, cable lists, material take-offs, and loop diagrams.
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the project lifecycle, from development and design to installation, focusing on innovative sustainability initiatives.
- Develop, review, and ensure the clarity and completeness of material, equipment, and delivery information within project proposals.
- Contribute your technical knowledge and experience to foster a highly collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Champion continuous improvement by integrating best practices and lessons learned into all processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Certification in instrument control systems engineering, or a closely related field.
- 5-10 years of hands-on experience in designing Control Systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software and 3D Modelling expertise.
- Demonstrated experience with international codes and standards in instrumentation, control, and automation systems, including API, ANSI, IEEE, ISO, EN, ATEX, and IEC.
- A strong understanding of Hazardous Area certification requirements.
- Expertise in identifying and selecting appropriate field instrumentation installation requirements, coupled with knowledge of materials used in installations.
- Experience in implementing instrumentation cabling, cable tray layouts, and related activities.
- Ability to work independently, applying sound engineering techniques.
- Meticulous attention to detail in all design and documentation processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A self-starter with a positive outlook, eager to contribute to a multicultural, multidisciplinary, and collaborative environment.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience with advanced engineering design software.
