Description
This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining governance for engineering project execution, with a focus on standardization across all business units in North America.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain engineering governance documents (procedures, standards, templates, guides, etc.)
- Drive process improvement by streamlining workflows and optimizing project execution practices
- Collaborate with project teams on engineering interfaces with procurement, quality, construction, and commissioning
- Support asset management initiatives, including taxonomy definition, equipment catalogs, and data
- Mentor peers, lead reviews of engineering deliverables, and ensure compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar
- 10 years of oil & gas industry experience (experience with renewables projects a plus)
- Strong knowledge of project lifecycles, from concept through commissioning
- Hands-on experience in instrumentation specifications, datasheets, material requisitions, and vendor evaluations
- Familiarity with control system hardware/software, FATs, commissioning, and networking equipment
- Electrical-Instrumentation-Control Systems (EIC) interface experience strongly preferred
