- Your Impact:**
- Support provider onboarding by ensuring all necessary agreements and prescriptive authority documents are fully executed, filed, and meticulously maintained.
- Manage initial credentialing and re-credentialing processes for a diverse group of medical professionals, ensuring timely completion and strict adherence to industry standards.
- Maintain comprehensive provider data within the designated database system.
- Actively participate in and support various departmental projects and initiatives.
- Conduct thorough sanctions and compliance monitoring, promptly alerting leadership to any undisclosed negative findings.
- Efficiently process malpractice insurance verification requests in accordance with internal policies.
- Oversee and update provider information on internal communication platforms, ensuring accurate status updates are shared with leadership and internal teams to meet critical timelines.
- Facilitate system access requests upon successful credentialing and clinic eligibility.
- Communicate promptly with technical support and leadership regarding any system interruptions, updates, or password changes.
- Engage actively in all team meetings, contributing to a collaborative and informed environment.
- Champion a positive and supportive attitude in all interactions with team members.
- Must-Have Qualifications:**
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a fast-paced, complex administrative environment, with significant experience in credentialing.
- Demonstrated understanding of initial credentialing and re-credentialing practices for medical professionals, including primary source verification methods, compliance monitoring, and expireables management.
- Previous experience within a healthcare environment.
- Exceptional adaptability to change within an energetic and evolving work setting.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and comfortably with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Strong motivation to establish, maintain, and manage productive working relationships with colleagues, external vendors, and contracted physicians.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the capacity to assess situations and make independent decisions when necessary.
- Experience in project management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
- Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**
- NAMSS Certified Professional Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) certification.
- Experience utilizing a specialized provider database system.
