- What You Will Work On**
You will be instrumental in bringing seasonal assortments to life across direct channels, with a primary focus on digital platforms. Your responsibilities will include:
- Understanding complex business strategies and marketplace dynamics to inform your plans, coordinating across diverse product categories and assessing how individual products or collections impact each other.
- Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure assortment plans not only meet consumer demand but also align seamlessly with strategic execution.
- Honing consumer-centric assortment plans across multiple seasons, leveraging an understanding of the direct channel’s market position and competitive landscape to blend data-driven insights with intuitive judgment.
- Participating actively in seasonal buy reviews and in-season trading, influencing actions to optimize growth alongside critical partners.
- Managing all aspects of assortment building and submissions, including systems entry, allocation, and planning processes.
- Who You Will Work With**
- Must-Have Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or a combination of relevant education or product-related roles, OR 5 years of additional experience and training in product category or apparel merchandising, product creation, retail, multi-brand, or digital environments.
- Experience in product category, apparel, equipment, or relevant consumer product merchandising.
- A strong understanding of common retail and/or digital profit-based metrics such as sell-through, margin, AUR, UPT, and others.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to and drive strategic thinking into actionable plans.
- Proficiency in building consumer and data-informed merchandising strategies and assortments.
- Comfortable speaking and presenting in large forums, articulating complex ideas clearly.
- Ability to critically analyze business trends and macro consumer trends to drive immediate action.
- Proven project management experience.
