Estimator

Position: Estimator

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Create and gain approval for all Sales Estimates in a timely manner
• Capacity management.
• Analyzing and planning for demand spikes.
• Coordinating that materials are on hand for scheduled jobs.
• Daily communication with sales and account management to update estimate status.
• Create and secure approval of estimates meeting both internal (production) and external (sales and customer service) requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Estimating
• Knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.
• Ability to strategize and think creatively.
• Related field preferred, or a minimum of 3 years of packaging and or paperboard industry experience.
• Advanced computer skills
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Good facility in math including fractions, decimals and measurement
