A leading heavy civil and infrastructure contractor with a national presence is seeking an experienced Scheduler to support projects across its Florida, Texas, and Southeast divisions. The company self-performs a wide range of transportation, utility, and water infrastructure projects, including highways, bridges, and earthwork.

Position Overview
Working within a centralized scheduling and project controls function, the Scheduler will collaborate directly with district operations teams to build, maintain, and update project schedules. The position will be office-based in Orlando, Dallas, or the new Southeast office (Asheville/Knoxville), with periodic travel to project sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and maintain construction schedules in Primavera P6 for multiple heavy civil projects.
- Work closely with project teams to ensure sequencing aligns with field progress and critical path objectives.
- Support bid and pursuit schedules as part of preconstruction efforts.
- Assist with monthly progress updates and reporting to district leadership.
- Identify schedule risks and provide recommendations for mitigation or recovery.
- Support implementation of best practices in project controls and scheduling processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction scheduling, preferably in heavy highway, bridge, utility, or earthwork.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 required.
- Strong understanding of CPM scheduling and construction sequencing.
- Experience supporting projects in CMGC or design-bid-build delivery models.
- Collaborative communication skills and ability to work closely with field teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
