Job Summary:
The Estimator plays a vital role in supporting both production operations and the sales department through a blend of administrative, technical, and process-driven tasks. This position works closely with the VP of Operations/Procurement to Generate Estimates, Order Raw Materials, Outsource Production Processes, and Backup Production Scheduling. This role includes involvement with the EOS platform, cybersecurity training, and employee culture initiatives. Additional duties include participation in AP Meetings, Sales Strategy Meetings, and Daily Production Meetings.

Primary Duties/ Responsibilities:
- IT Security Compliance—Participate in and adhere to company-provided cybersecurity education and prevention courses, ensuring compliance with IT security policies and best practices to protect company data and systems.
- Participate in the EOS platform—Attend scheduled one-to-one meetings, quarterly discussions, annual reviews, and department meetings. Complete Performance Management documents and quarterly ROCKs and report weekly Scorecard Metrics as assigned.
- Estimating: Generate New & Repeat Estimates in accordance to Contribution Requirements
- Entry Level CAD: Establish sheet sizes and layouts in order to perform estimating duties
- Calculate Case Sizes and Pallet Specs for Estimating and Sales Dept.
- Outsourcing Liaison and main communication with third party co-manufacturers
- Participation in Production/Operations L10 Meetings
- Participation in Daily Production Meetings
- Participation in Sales Strategy Meetings
- Participate in Advanced Planning Meetings – Provide support when necessary
- Run re-order reports and board requirement sheets for Estimating Dept.
- Performs other duties as required.
Backup Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Production Scheduling
- Maintain physical and electronic schedule board.
- Update reports that feed The Schedule Board Live
- Schedule upcoming jobs to run efficiently while completing them on time.
- Create and distribute daily shift schedule.

- Item/Job Entry New and Repeat Jobs
- Issue Paperboard / Post Paperboard issues.
- Create Job Cards/Tickets
- Main Backup to Production Manager for AP Meetings
- Paperboard and Finished Goods Inventory – Strong Understanding
- Receiving process.
- Traceability Data (Roll bin locations, PO on production load tags,
- Open Board PO’s Document & how to update
- Run and update the Inventory reports for the Vision Log and Customer Inventory Reports
- Finished Goods Specifications – Strong Understanding
- Maintain accurate item and job specifications.
- Update ASI/Estimates with correct information.
- Assign finished good item numbers when requested by sales.
- Shop Floor Support:
- Transfer data from Vorne 2.0 to ASI.
- Daily review of shop floor data / verify accurate data posting to the ASI database.
- Balancing finished jobs
- Finished Goods count matches machine data collection count.
- Correct number of cases and pallets charged to the job.
- Correct film weight charged to the job.
- Correct ink and coating weights charged to the job.
- Verify counts for Make & Ship jobs.
- Assist with fixing incorrect Finished Goods load tags.
- Performs other duties as required.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial management or business management with a computer science minor/background.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
General Physical Requirements:
Standing/Sitting – Position requires extended periods of sitting at a desk and completing computer-based work.
Walking – The ability to freely move about the production floor may be necessary when investigating production issues.
Climbing – Some machines require the ability to climb stairs to interact with machine operators in the production area.
Lifting/Carrying – Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. on occasion.
Reaching/Handling – Frequent reaching, grasping, and fine motor skills are necessary.
Sensory and Communication Abilities:
Visual Requirements – Frequent use of a computer screen is necessary.
Speech/Communication – Clear verbal communication is necessary.
Environmental Conditions:
Temperature Extremes– May require trips to the production floor where temperatures can fluctuate seasonally from cold to hot.
Dexterity and Coordination:
Hand-Eye Coordination – Accurately scanning job cards into the system is necessary.
Manual Dexterity – frequent typing and peripheral mouse use are necessary.
Work Schedule and Fatigue Considerations:
Shift Work – Day Shift, posted office hours are 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Monday - Friday
Overtime Requirements –Some occasional overtime may be necessary to meet the demands of the position.
Salary : $70,000 - $86,000
