We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to join our operations team. This role is essential to ensuring the accurate, timely, and efficient movement of materials in and out of our facility. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Bills of Lading (BOLs), strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Coordinate all daily shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards. Prepare, review, and process Bills of Lading, packing lists, and other required shipping documentation. Verify incoming shipments, inspect materials, and ensure quantities match purchase orders. Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers, freight companies, and internal departments. Maintain accurate inventory records and update internal systems in real time. Communicate with vendors, drivers, and warehouse staff to resolve discrepancies or delays. Ensure all shipments meet regulatory, safety, and quality requirements. Operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.) as needed. Keep the shipping/receiving area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Support cycle counts, audits, and other inventory control activities. Qualifications 2 years of shipping/receiving experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Strong Bill of Lading (BOL) experience—creating, reviewing, and managing documentation. Familiarity with freight carriers, LTL/FTL shipments, and logistics processes. Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office. Ability to lift up to [insert weight] and work on your feet for extended periods. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Forklift certification a plus (or willingness to obtain).
