This Sheet Metal Foreman & Mechanic Position Features:• Direct Hire Positions - Multiple Sheet Metal Foreman & Multiple Sheet Metal Mechanics (separate positions) • Competitive Pay Package, Outstanding Benefits and Travel Bonus• $40-60/hr Benefits • Stratford, CT Our client is an established HVAC company is seeking MULTIPLE experienced Sheet Metal Foremen and Sheet Metal Mechanics to join their team for commercial HVAC installation projects. If you have strong technical skills and leadership ability, this is your opportunity to work on high-quality projects with a respected company. Key Responsibilities: * Interpret plans and specifications for coordinated HVAC installations. * Measure, install, repair, and replace sheet metal HVAC duct systems. * Install air handlers, rooftop units, fans, and exhaust systems. * Layout and mark positions for equipment, ductwork, registers, grilles, and diffusers. * Fabricate and assemble parts using nuts, bolts, rivets, screws, clips, or welding. * Seal and test HVAC systems for leakage. * Ensure proper and safe use of all trade-related tools. Foreman Specific: * Manage and run a crew of up to 10 employees. * Maintain daily logbook and 2-week lookahead schedule. * Oversee rigging and layout for all aspects of the project. Qualifications: * CT License SM-1 or SM-2. * Knowledge of CT codes. * Valid CT driver’s license. * OSHA 10 certification. * Certified for scissor and boom lift. * Possession of required tools. * Leadership experience for Foreman role.
